    Build sheet question

Were build sheets on the gas tanks of 1964 corvettes?

    John------

Nope. Build sheets on the tanks did not start until the 1967 model year.

I suppose that if someone swapped a '67 tank, with it's tank sheet still intact, up and into that '64.......it might have one on it.

Right, unless you have the original window sticker or dealer invoice, you are out of luck on a '64.

Or copy 5 of the Regular Commercial and Truck paperwork the truck driver left with the dealer when he delivered the car.

Harry, I have heard of those but in all my years I have never seen one for a '64, have you?

I have mine for one of my 63's. I just assumed they were still being created in 64.

I've seen quite a few for C3s, just not so many C2s, you may be one of the lucky ones.

Another possibility would be to see if you could find the "Wholesale Invoice" form that was sent
to whoever made the loan to the buyer of the car. I was lucky to find this from the local bank that
made the loan to the buyer for my 1966. Most of the loans for the C2's came from GMAC in which the
                  wholesale invoice papers have
long since vanished or destroyed with the GM bankrupcy. Larry
