    Corvettes at Carlisle Seminar

Anyone attending next week, I am scheduled for a Friday 3:00 pm seminar covering C2 - C3 diff's, boxes, and arms. Location is now a tent not Building R as in years past. Stop by and say hi.

    Gary,

Thanks for putting on seminar - past years talks have always been very informative. I'll be in the crowd.

This year the Delaware Valley Chapter's, NCRS Gallery Collection will be located under a tent, just next to building "R". So, please stop in to see some of the nicest cars in the country on display!

Don, thanks for that info, I always wondered what went on there. I need to put attendance someday on my bucket list of Corvette events I have never been to, like Bloomington and MCACN. I am curious about the concours judging they do by NCCC, anyone know how that works? But I see I could get free parking if I drive my '12 ZR1 in Carlisle Blue........

                    Re: Corvettes at Carlisle Seminar

As mentioned the seminars have been moved away from Building R, they are in a tent down by the cars for sale pavilion now.

                    I will go over

Diffs- Stock- blueprinted- Super 10 ( the real one) and 12 bolt conversions.
Steering Boxes - why a properly built one is all you need
Trailing Arms & rear bearing setup
                    1/2 Shafts and u-joints.
What to look for if you are shopping for this work
How to build these better then anyone's if you are planning on doing the work in the future. I have coached guys in all this work from every state, to Europe, Australia, to South Africa.

I requested the last time slot of the day so I can stay as long as there are questions. In the past years I was on a time schedule and 2 hours blew by and there was still 20 guys rushing the table when I was done.

All for the price of admission, where else are you going to get this education? No where!

Gary, If I was going to Carlisle I'd certainly attend. I'm disappointed I cannot go this year.

ALWAYS a great weekend. Founding father Chip Miller was one of my best friends. He always treated everyone like family. Now Lance and Bill continue the tradition. Chip created the RACE CAR REUNIONS in 1998. He and CARLISLE EVENTS continued the tradition in 2004, 2009, and 2014.

In 2013, I went with a good California friend and towed his 63 Z0-6 TANKER race car back for the 50th Birthday of those great cars.

Your seminar is a great event Gary. Thanks for sharing with everyone.

                          Hi All
I just got back from Carlisle and wanted to thank those that came to the seminar this year. I let it run into 2.5 hours trying to cover all questions. I know it was hot and humid but there was a good size group there.

                            Gary,

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I wish I had known. On my way from Long Island to Carlisle in my 66 the rear did some funky things and I'm sure your seminar would have been a huge and timely help. After I get the car up on the lift and check a few things I will either be reviving an old thread or starting another seeking advice. I've already read through a bunch of threads here and appreciate the help you've given others.

                            John
