I would be interested in some other opinions. Looking at the posted values on the NADA site...applying the descriptions of "low value," "average value," and "high value"...and looking at vehicles I am familiar with...I feel the values are overstated. I would like to hear some other opinions.

I have three vehicles that I would sell tomorrow for 30% less than NADA "Classic Car" values. Bring cash.- Top

Re: NADA website posted values vs actual
I used to print out either the KBB or NADA report and stick it to the window of the cars I was selling. I would pick the highest one. KBB used to be consistently high, but they went through some changes several years ago.
A better determination of "Market Value" can be found on Craig's List or other local sales oriented websites. For number 2 classic cars, you have to look at a lot of websites, and small local auctions are also good. I never use KBB or NADA for these.

Harry--
Went to to App Store and downloaded Corvette DNA. Yes, Free.
Very cool app and fun to play with.
Price ratchets with condition and options.
Nice job with facts and colors for each model year found in the upper right corner.
Well thought out. Enjoying it.
Thanks for the tip.

Re: NADA website posted values vs actual
You guys should move to Johnston County N.C. and see the values the Tax Collector places on "collector cars" if you want high values. They won't even tell you where they got the values. It's up to you to get 3 appraisals and present to them, and then, they will decide if they want to consider lowering the value after evaluating the vehicle at their meeting. Just thought I'd throw this in, since we're talking high values.- Top
