Dual points distributor

Would a 1100985 dated 8A3 dual points distributor have any Corvette application ? It has a cap with two windows.

Lyle, '985 is a 62 carb distributor. But your tag is off unless it's a service replacement. 8A3= Jan 8, 1963 or 1973???
Need the distributor cam number to see if the 985 original for a '62 or over the counter. Maybe the football number also.

The 1110985 is used on a 1962 340 HP Corvette.
But I am sure you would know that.

A lot of ...985 distributors were sold OTC to racers and hot rodders for many years after their final OE application on the '62 340 HP engine, so its fairly common to see dates well beyond mid- '62.

It was available in SERVICE into the mid-1990's. Manufacture probably ended about 1988 when most Delco-Remy manufacturing operations "closed up shop".
