    Why would it? Did you ever see a part number for the BOX parts came in from GM?

      I've owned both a 60 and 59 BB FI car (still own the 59) Scoops were never installed on either until I put them on the 60. They were always in a box of stuff that went with the car. With all the documents I received with the 59, I would have thought the scoops would have been in a bag if they came that way. This car was very much original at time of purchase. But who knows for sure? You would think they would have been placed in something to keep them secured during shipping, etc. Just my 2c worth.

        The ones for my 13K mile '64 FI tanker with J56 came in a bag like the '63 Z06 book says and shown above.
