not sure anyone has an original. for that matter, not sure the air scoops were in a burlap bag. when i restored the black 61 RPO vet, i got one from dale pear man, but as u know, dale wasn't always forthcoming. RIP VAROOOOM. MIKE

This is an old thread, but apparently NO one has seen an original burlap bag from the RPO scoops. So, if no one has seen an
original bag, how do we know they were actually used?

there are some folks who believe the 57 684's came from st louis with the scoops attached to the backing plates and no covers were supplied to the 57 only 684's. i'm not sure which theory is genuine. mike

First, I have never own a C1 or restored one for that matter, but my question would be is the burlap bag listed in the assembly manual? Was the bag ever listed in the dealer parts book?

danny: i'm certain that the 63 ZO6's had a burlap bag as i had a low mile ZO6 until recently. what i'd like to know is about the 57's with heavy duty brakes/suspension. your bag looks like an original 63 bag to me. mike
