    Holley fuel bowl level

I will appreciate some advice before trying to remove my rear carb on a 67 tri-power setup without disturbing the others.......
Basically, the float adjustment nut seems to have no effect on the high fuel level( fuel runs out of the sight opening when engine is running) . I have changed out the needle & seat with no effect. The float does not seem to be stuck . I read in the archives that this can be caused by a tab on the float not properly contacting the adjusting needle? If so, what needs to be done ? Any other possible causes? Finally, what are my chances of getting this carb off without having to deal with all those other connections?
    THANKS!

You must remove the front, middle & rear in order. The float may have a hole in it.

Usually the copper flares are a onetime deal I would put new flares in if it was me why take a chance I hate doing the job over again.

Agree with Ken. I've had 2 new Holley carbs with pin holes in float. Best to remove float, shake it, can also put it in a container with gas and see if it sinks. Check this first!

I've removed the rear carb without loosening the other connections. Not easy but doable.

Thanks for all the replies & good advice. I was able to remove just the end carb , but, several fuel connections had to be loosened to provide the needed slack to re-install. I believe a stuck float is the root problem. I was told these non-metallic floats will absorb enough fuel over time to cause a problem even if there's no hole & really should be weighed . Is this correct?

Do these carbs come with plastic rather than brass floats or was yours replaced sometime in past by someone? I don' t know answer on these Holley 2 barrel carbs.

I believe all end carbs are plastic & center carb copper.
