Took my 65' for a run at night this week, and noticed that the marker lights go OFF when my headlights are turned on. If I turn off the headlights, all four corners light up fine. Any ideas what could be the culprit ? Thanks in advance

Re: 65' light issues
David,
You are not the first person to not know about the lights function.
Some owners have made modifications to allow the lights to stay on with the headlights on.
I have run into a number of people who I have sold LED lights to who have complained that they don't work with the headlights. My question to them was did they work before you installed the LED's?
Universal answer "I never noticed".

Yes, it's a simple change. You take the front PARK lamps feed wire out of the plastic headlight connector and move it to the extra HL terminal. Many folks did that, and IIRC it's a requirement in some Europe countries.
We were preparing my friend's '65 FI coupe for judging in 2010, and we discovered the change a PO made. We had to revert back to the correct configuration.
A very detailed thread on that here.....
