Did a search on past posts on this subject and there wasn't much out there, except a consensus that the system overall was pretty unreliable. By today's standards the whole thing is a Rube Goldberg. Wiper motor, coupler, pump and controller recently rebuilt by Jay Maxwell. Vacuum reservoir holds vacuum as it should. Have Joe Calcagno's write up on these units as well. Units are working so that the squirter's squirt and the coupler starts the wipers as designed.....BUT the wipers do not park reliably when the washer sequence is complete. Will be working with Jay on this issue but wondered if anyone had any suggestions to offer on what might be out of adjustment based on debugging their systems. 1962 S/N 10456 built late April with the "479" wiper motor, 327/340 engine. The parts I have were original to the car and not functioning before they were rebuilt, so progress has been made. Would just like the washer system to work reliably when parking the wipers.
