    Pre Judging or advice??

Is it possible to hire a Judge to offer advice on a car? If so who would I contact in the Buffalo, NY area?

I'd contact Gene Manno who frequents this board for advice.

I think the best approach is to take your car to a local chapter event and have them judge it. It will give you experience going through the process and outline some of the things you may want to fix. Then move on to the regional and later the national if you want to pursue the process.

There is nothing I would like to do better, but work does not not allow me the time to do this .

Contact Susan Manno at smanno@rochester.rr.com. She is the WNY Chairperson and will gladly take your car for judging next spring. A date has yet to be set, but its usually in the Canandaigua, NY area. Van Bortel Chevrolet is the current chapter sponsor, so that where I assume it will be held.
If that's not to your liking, the Ontario Canada Chapter meet is on June 9-10, 2017 in Richmond Hill, ON (Toronto). Our meet is indoors and cars are secured for friday evening in the dealers old showroom.

            Michael,
Are you looking for a pre-purchase inspection? That's what I'm understanding you're asking for.

                  Michael,
Do you own the TIM&JG (Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide) for your year car? If not, they are available thru the NCRS store and will provide you with a wealth of knowledge and answers to many questions.

Thanks, I did purchase one of those. Still trying to decide if i want to leave it in the 1970 form or revert it to original.
