Admins: Please make this a Sticky Thread as many members are not aware of this software bug and the workaround.
The Error:
Some time ago the software in this present version was changed to upgrade other features. There is a bug in this new version regarding a "post too short" error message when editing your posts that contain photos. This occurs even if you added more than ten characters as the error explains.
The Workaround:
When the Error dialog box comes up that the post is too short, click the "X" in the upper right corner of that Error dialog box. Don't click the CANCEL button or you will loose your edits. Then click the "GO ADVANCED" button. Note that your screen may have characters overwritten and look generally corrupted. Ignore this. Then click the SAVE CHANGES button. The post will then be submitted with the edits and photos.
Edit: To avoid the Error Dialog box, you can go directly to Go Advanced when you edit your post and the Error dialog box will not appear.
