    Cross Country in a Bubbletop

I'm leaving Dallas Saturday in my 61 heading for Buffalo.
Is there a way we could contact a local fellow NCRS member along the way if we have a break down?
Good advice on local garages/transmission shops would be invaluable.
Also, if I had to resort to a transport company taking it the rest of the way, it would be great to have someone recommend a safe, reputable place where I could take it to wait for the transport truck.
I know this isn't directly related to plastic cars, but I'll be taking this same trip this spring with my 61 Vette.
    Thanks!

I'll be going through Texarkana, Little Rock, Memphis, Nashville, Bowling Green, Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus, Erie and Buffalo.

Find someone in your area that is a member of SACC. They have a HELP manual that lists members in most areas of the country with contact information for those that have volunteered to help Corvette people in distress.

        Mike,
I have 2 names in Dallas but your private mail box is full so I cannot send them there and I don't want to post them here.

          Hi Mike,

You might want to check with Jack Panzica (Corvette Vagabond). He did a cross country trip in his 66 Corvette a few years ago.

Great news! 1,430 miles of perfect weather. No problems other than the vacuum advance rubber diaphragm finally calling it a day.
Really proud of that stovebolt! What a drive!
