    1970 427 TCS solenoid wiring picture wanted

    Folks,
    A friends 1970 LS5 427 is missing the wiring for the TCS solenoid on the inlet manifold.
    Does anyone have a picture of the wiring routing from the solenoid to the harness on the firewall?

          I will look for a picture, but in the mean time look at the 1970 AIM< UPC 12, Sheet A8 for a start.

              Thanks Terry.
              We have the AIM, but we have to make the wire assembly so we need to know the type of plug and colour of the wire, type of wrapping, etc.
              Unfortunately there are no 70 Big blocks in Perth to look at.

                      So I can see the plug is black. The wires look like one red, one black but it is not very clear. Cannot see what the outer insulation is.

                          Gary, here's a photo from my old LS5. Metal tube is repro but wiring is original.

                              Thanks Chris,
                              Its strange that it has 1" wrapping tap around the wires. I would have thought it would have thermal insulation like the temperature sender wiring on my L78.
                              Anyway there is enough info in the photo to replicate it.
