    1970 Radiator rebuild

Anyone know of a good source to get my original 1970 LT1 brass radiator re-cored? It has also been suggested that I order a new core from Paragon and have the original tanks removed and welded onto the new core. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Best, John.

Not yet... The jury is still out on the radiator. Where are you located?

I have used Arns Automotive in Brodhead, WI for years. http://www.arnsauto.com/ Real masters at doing recoring, saving tanks, upper braces and even puts the tags back on.
Talk with Steve Arns, you will be real happy with it when it comes back.

I had one recorded two years ago for a 76 by a local outfit that has been doing them as long as I can remember - probably longer. They did a great job, and saved the original pieces we wanted to be saved.

I would check with local long-standing service garages in your area, as they probably can tell you who is the best.

Had a local shop in NJ remove the radiator, re-core, re-install, add new antifreeze for $125. This was 25 years ago and it is still running strong
