    Edward-------

GM #3771868 was never cataloged for a Corvette application. However, it was replaced for SERVICE by a succession of part numbers that were cataloged for Corvette applications. So, assuming that 3771868 is forward compatible (which I expect it is), it should work for the front drums for 1963-64 Corvettes as well as some earlier C1.

By the way, GM #3771868 was discontinued in October, 1963, so it's been gone for a LONG time.

Joe - if the 868 drum was cancelled a month after the start of '63 production, then 2.75" front drums must have been used on pass. cars and/or truck prior to '63. Do you know when pass. cars and trucks first were produced with 2.75" front drums?

The GM #3771868 was discontinued and replaced AFTER 1963 production ended (i.e October, 1963). I know very little about these drums. However, these same drums were used on passenger cars from 1959-64. So, whatever width the Corvette front brakes were for 1963-64, I would assume the 1959-64 passenger cars were the same.
