Hello to all !

week of June ( 9-11) at the Gilles Villeneuve Formula One track. We have proposed to have 28 - 30 Stingrays (convertibles to accommodate the F1 drivers presentation) exclusively for the tour the of drivers lap before the race. If anyone with a 1953-1972 Corvette roadster would like to be a part of this event, please contact me at 514-926-3922 for more information. Your vehicle will be driven by yourself around the track with an F1 Driver on board & be presented in front of 120,000 plus spectators, and televised live worldwide.

This weekend is a part of history. We also have in our possession for the race day, the 1969 U.S Grand Prix Safety car at Watkins Glenn. This 1969 Camaro SS - 396/375hp solid lifter car is fully restored to concours condition, and will participate in the opening lap with the F-1 drivers, on race day.
Please note, participating Corvettes will receive VIP storage and secure parking/display facilities for the entire week-end.
The Quebec NCRS Chapter will have a fully organized week-end for F1 tour participants (restaurant outings, Montreal's top sites, restricted shopping for your wives etc..)

Great to hear from you ! I was unable to attend the Regional in Ontario this summer due to health issues & one of my regrets was not being able to see your stunning Lynndale car. I look forward to meeting you and spending time with your car if you can make it for the F1 week-end in June. Please confirm a convenient phone number to call you. Sounds like a plan Enzo ! I'll keep everyone up to speed with news from the organizers with regards to licensing issues and Mercedes Benz (main event sponsor) which might keep us off the track. Otherwise, we're good to go. We might have a 66 B-production roadster with famous racing provenance; at the rear of the pack.

Here's 4 pics I took while at the 1967 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada, at Parc Mont Tremblant, north of Montreal. In the pre-race parade, JIm Clark is in the Camaro; also the Mako Shark made an appearance. Next, a shot just after the flag dropped, and a panorama pic of the track and rolling terrain.
