    Lakeland Regional Sun n' Fun

    I would like to thank everyone, especially Paul Schwack and Jim Moran for making the event a special experience. As you may know, I was in the hospital all week with pneumonia. Still under the weather but happy that the event went smoothly. Only taking 10 different pills but whatever. Thanks to Bill Herron for his management of getting the cars in and out of the hanger. Laying in bed I kept wondering how things were going and was reassured by Jim and Paul that everything was fine. Missed seeing old friends but hopefully see everyone at the convention.       John,
      Paul and Jim did good; you are to be proud of them. The new Concourse judging went very well and I feel we, the ncrs, did good for
      starting it. I am honored to have been able to judge in the first Concourse event and I predict there will be many more.

          We missed you Coach, but I am glad to hear you are on the mend. Paul & Jim did just fine. You taught them well. Now your job is to get better so we can see you at some meet down the road.

                      You are posting before breakfast (5:49). Sorry we never got a chance to talk at Lakeland. The advanced judge's class keeps me busy for two days.

                                          Gene, I don't know where the time went and I was hoping to catch up too. Helping Tyler and Ed kept me busy. If I had some extra time I'd have attended your classes as there is always more to learn from you. I was even going to try to OJ Saturday with the '67 Mechanical guys but that never happened either.
