Jim, Whenever I do the videos I know you'll have special fun watching them. I know it's difficult for you to get around these days. I always think of you, along with many other folks in similar situations, as one of the main reasons I do them, and for everyone that can't make it down here in our nice winter climate.

I hope I began a trend a few years ago when I did my first videos of the Winter Regional. Hopefully others around the country will follow suit for the rest of us when we can't make it to those other Events. I certainly would enjoy seeing videos of other Events around the country as time goes by.

Ed, Thanks for those nice comments, but knowing it helps is all that I expect and nothing else. I guess it comes natural to share what I can. Mom taught me that as a child and thank her often up there in Heaven. So many others have shared what they know about Corvettes to us all and specifically taught me so much. I enjoy paying it forward as a way to say thanks to them and their willingness to share. I am fortunate to have so many Corvette friends with the same passion that I do, both in the physical world and here as well.

          Thanks,
          Rich

I got some new news today that the SWAP MEET had a 65 FUEL INJECTION UNIT for sale. Stamped on the plenum was the original vin #5102289. The car is listed in the 65 FI REGISTRY. I know the car owner who lives in Omaha. Please let me know and I will put you two together.

Your welcome gents, Thanks for making this a fun place.

Jim, You may want to also add that info here in the Orpans Forum list and also on CF Orphan page(albeit they may want to make you pay for the ad....nyuk nyuk). When yo do, I suggest you give the full vin# of the car in each place.

I'll Talk to Tyler later and a few people I know that are into Fuelies that were there to see if they recall the vendor's name and contact info. I recall a FI vendor in Hanger A, Jack Podell I think. Was it in the swap field or in the hanger? Any chance the videos show the FI unit on a table? That might give me a clue and then look up the swap space map and the vendor.

                    Answer I just received,
                    ''Jim,
It wasn't Podell, it was not in the hangar where he was. I watched Rich's video but he was too far away to see any detail.
I looked at the map, I would say booth number 259 thru 298. If not that, the row behind that row, 500 thru 547. There was a vendor I think on the end of a row, 237 and 212 possibly that had a lot of used parts too, I would try him also.
It wasn't Ian Johnston, I was there several times and bought some stuff for my 396 car.
I hope that helps.'' THANK YOU ALL. THE CAR OWNER HAS INTEREST IN BUYING THE FI UNIT
