71 Tilt Telescopic Column in need of repair

Hello All,
I picked up a nice 71 LT-1 Coupe a few months ago, great car, but, the steering wheel will move side to side maybe an inch or more. Car drives well, steers good, just has the side to side free play (slop) in the column. I've tried to find help here in North Carolina, as well as I was in FL last week and asked quite a few members present if they could recommend anyone, no one was able to help. If anyone here has a suggestion as to who I could send my column to I would really appreciate it. East coast, West coast, North or South I'll ship it.

John, There is a aluminum part in there that is worn out but I am not sure if there is a replacement available other than if someone has a NOS one. maybe someone could weld up the pivot holes and redrill them..

Tony's Corvette in MD has stock on those parts if call them they might be able to help you.
