A mechanic at the local Corvette shop acquired some parts from the estate of Doug Rowe. Doug was the one who bought Tony DeLorenzo's '67 L88, back in the late '60s, and raced it extensively in western Canada until 1982 (then sold to Wayne Walker)..
Would like some comments on these parts. To me, it seems like the duct (which glues to the underside of the hood scoop in the 1967 MY) is NOS, due to the lack of adhesive evidence. You can read the part # in the close-up, 3908129, and this confirms in my 1970 P&A30 parts book under Gr 3.417 as '67 (only) Corvette w/H.D. (427) Duct, hood air intake.
I don't have a '67 AIM, but in Noland's Vol 2, page 425, there's an exploded view of the L88 hood, and lists the Duct as 3908129.
It also looks like the air diffuser assy 6423906 might also be there, but looks like is missing the small screen and "hat" [retainer]. Maybe I could take some close-ups to confirm any other associated parts. The mechanic (Tom) is looking for confirmation before listing the item(s).
