Re: Help getting my 82 CE running
Hugh I am not familiar with the problems on your 1982 CE. You may get some help from Gordan Killebrew. He has experience with the 1984 and later Corvettes since he worked at the Corvette Plant until he retired. He may be able to help you, just type in his name and get his web page.- Top

Re: Help getting my 82 CE running
Hugh, you have to know what your dealing with, no spark or no fuel, remove the crossfire air cleaner and turn car over while watch for fuel from throttle body injectors. to check for spark you can remove a plug wire and insert a old spark plug and ground to exhaust manifold and crank engine and watch electrode for spark. get back to me and maybe I can walk you through a couple of tests.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: Help getting my 82 CE running
In 82 the fuel pump gets power in one of 2 ways, through the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure switch. Might want to disconnect one at a time while problem is occurring to see if the pump stops running. Here is a diagram.Attached Files- Top
