For those of you that are doing a driver.
Well, after all of my research here for tires and wheels for my 57 Corvette this is what I have decided to do.
I am going to run 225/70Rs on the back on the recommended 6" mid 70s A body wheels that I will weld nubs on to hold my original full wheel covers on. For the front I am going to run 205/75Rs on my original 5" wheels. mixing the 70 and 75 series will give nearly exactly the same tire height front and rear.
I found these people that cut wide whites on their supplied Cooper Trendsetters radials for $664. for the set of 4.
