I am working on my '66, and need some pictures of what the carpet cutouts should look like under the seats. Thanks for any help.

One thing that puzzles me. The additional cutout on the inside of the seat track looks logical on the outboard seat track, as the plug is there, but why is it on the inboard seat track side too, no plug or anything there. Just for symmetry????Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

I did find an answer to this, from Mike Geary, who says: "I wondered about those cuts for years and then I think it was John H. who explained: the designer was making sure that the seat adjusting mechanism wouldn't drag on the carpet."
