Leif------
The stamping in the 3rd photo is a stamping that was done with individual stamping dies. This type of stamping was rarely done at the factory (way too time consuming among other reasons). So, I'd say it was a stamping done by a rebuilder. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Jim and Joe,
As always, thank you for your responses. You're both, most likely, correct with your assumptions. I had the transmission out and re-sealed back in July of 2015. They looked over the transmission while it was out to be sure it needed nothing else. I guess they stamped it at that time. Thanks again.Leif

Re: '67 M21 numbers
Leif, common practice amongst rebuilders. Possibly for warranty purposes so that a shop knows if it was their work or not. I have seen rebuilders stamp an engine pad above the egine assembly sequence, and it was an original pad....so you never know....Regards my friend...ARA- Top
