I dug out my copy which is a first printing, June 1975. Lots of disclaimers in the first pages acknowledging there were likely inaccuracies. It's one of the first Corvette books I bought. My first Corvette was a '69 427 purchased used in August of 1974. Going through my archives I also found Karl Ludvigsen's "Corvette-America's Star Spangled Sports Car." My copy is a second edition, copyright 1974. I probably haven't looked at either of them in the 25 years since we moved to our current home. Now I need to rediscover my 'Sensous American' books and continue back in time...I'm 15096; didn't join NCRS until '90 or so when looking for a C1. Had a '59 for 13 years, now own '84 and '14 with many stops in between.

Walt,
Those were my first two Corvette books also. Subscribed to the "Vette Super Shopper" and then "Vette Vues" shortly after I bought my first, a 62, in October 74. I learned a lot from Ray Miller! Some of it correct. Later on, I ended up living in El Cajon, CA, where the featured 62 was from. Never was able to find the owner or the car.

Same here. I dug out my copy (which I haven't looked at in years) and it is a First Printing, June 1975. I lost the paper cover somewhere along the line. Don H. 5190
