There is supposed to be a ground strap connected somewhere on the sill plate, one end with a screw and the other with a clip. I can't figure out the connection point. Any suggestions or AIM page references are greatly appreciated.

Ok, that's the picture that came with the set of straps. Problem is, I can't figure out what I'm looking at. Is that at the forward end of the driver's side doorsill?- Top

Here's a pic. of the strap with the body removed. The clip at the end of the strap goes onto the birdcage sill plate. It's the same with or without side exhaust.

Thanks Jim. I'll get up underneath and see if I can see the hole in the forward body mount. That is the driver's side, correct?
So I guess the difference in grounding on N14 cars is that there's no strap where the exhaust clamp would be, at the crossmember?- Top
