    I don't think that's necessary. Firmly grasp the boot and rotate it on the spark plug, then give it a good pull. After installing the new plugs, put a dab of dielectric grease around the end of the new plug (before installing the boot) to make it easier to remove the next time.

      Your going to be saying every cus word in the book on the drivers side. No need to make things worse with a hot engine

        Drivers side is a piece of cake. The passenger side isn't that bad till #8 plug. It helps to loosen the ASR so it can be moved, as well as taking out the cover over the a-arms. If you're changing wires, that is no fun. Also be careful around the fuel line holder as they can break and not sure if still available.
