Can anyone tell me the proper size Tower clamps I need for the return hose on a GF-432 filter used on my 1968 L36 ? I'd like to buy the correct size the first time. Thanks in advance. RICH

Re: 1968 Fuel filter clamps
Richard, I can't help with the manufacturer's size or part number but I had a difficult time finding new ones to replace the originals. I ended up with a pair I removed from an old washing machine. Not the first place I would look...... That was years ago. Everything now is plastic junk.- Top

Have you tried Dr. Rebuild? He's the "King of Clamps". If he can't supply them, you might not be able to get them.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1968 Fuel filter clamps
Well I managed to find 4 very similar clamps and all 4 are marked Wittick SG 22 . They were in my hardware stash and may have come from a very original 68 coupe that I had a long time ago in another life. I'm soaking them to clean them up and hope at least two will be usable.- Top
