Inspection Needed in South Dakota - 1967

I have located a car in Kimball South Dakota owned by a corvette enthusiast who has several I would like to get my hands on but only one is for sale. It is a NOM (chevelle big block now) 67 big block roadster. I am looking for a general inspection and determination of general overall condition.

If you know of anyone in that area please let me know - I have struggled trying to find an inspector.

Please forward me a check to include air fare, hotel, food and other accommodations along with a check for $1,000.00! Then I'll tell you not to buy the 67 as you have announced to all of NCRS that it is a NOM!

I am sorry Joe - I have owned 26 corvettes in my lifetime 90% original and a few with CE blocks at this point I just want a solid car that I can work on and drive. I have always enjoyed the support and advice of this community but I am surprised by your response - sorry if you were offended

Joking mostly! Don't take it seriously BUT I'm sure some people on this board recorded your statement of the NOM.
Certainly not offended but half serious!!!!! Inspection of a Vehicle is between the buyer and the inspector-that is what you would be paying for!

Contact North Central Chapter, or as JR has "indicated" there are many on this board who may / may not respond who will inspect a vehicle for a price

Kenneth, my friend Howard Goering says that he has never seen those cars, but he says again that he knows the guy and he's a good guy. We can't seem to think of anyone else that we still know in Sioux Falls. I would go and look at it myself tomorrow except I'm going to look at another very interesting Corvette that is not for sale. Maybe you should fly to Sioux Falls and Rent-A-Car. If you're still pursuing this car in a week or two I'll try to get down there and look at it.

I took Joe's comment in jest. Sometimes difficult to tell with text, I am confident he was just having fun.

Years ago I sold a 66 to a guy on the right coast, I'm on the left or wrong coast! Two NCRS members drove over 50 miles to inspect the car. I really don't know if the buyer was charged. However I do know the buyer flew out two weeks ago to visit one of the fellows that inspected the Corvette, They been friends for over 20 years now. Any yes i sold the car to the right coast enthusiast.

Sending a video sometimes helps. I hope it works out.

Todd - thanks again for all the leg work - I have been looking at flights unfortunately I probably cant get there for a week or two as well - we will see the car is goodwood green which is a like it or not color so perhaps it will still be there
