Has anybody ever sold a Corvette with a agent through Mecum Auction?

Just wondering on the above question. If one can not attend the auction due to various reasons I'm
sure there are agents out there that will do it for you including transporting the car if necessary. Would
like comments on this subject. Cost?? Thanks in advance-Larry

If you watch Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini he is always selling cars at auction for clients. No idea what the cost is. Try contacting him.

I haven't. Between the auction, agent, and transportation costs, this may be an expensive way to sell a car. Plus there's risk of a low price if no reserve, or return transportation if the reserve isn't met. Net proceeds may be greater just selling to a dealer. The risk and hassle is certainly less.
