Parts are available to rebuild the washer pump. It's not really all that difficult to do it. The main problem is that the replacement parts are not configured exactly like the originals if that matters to you. If your pump body and valve cover are in good shape, you might get away with just installing a valve kit which you can buy at many auto parts stores. However, problems with the operation of the washers might be related to things besides the pump, most notably the washer tubes on the wiper arms.

If you want the headlamp washers to work, that's another problem. For 1969 only there is a splitter solenoid that directs the output of one pump outlet to the headlamp washer system. I do not know of a way to rebuild this solenoid if it's bad but there may be one by now.

      Tom,
The solenoid can be opened up, and to some extent, be repaired. If the coil has continuity through it and none of the ports are broken the problem is usually corrosion on the double pointed "needle" and spring inside. These can be cleaned, de-rusted, and even repaired. Be VERY careful when opening up since the plastic ports are very fragile. I have repaired several successfully and still have a couple of them in my stash. If you want, come to my shop in Royal Oak and I can show you how.

          Tom,
How about we arrange a time for us to meet and not be concerned about money. I just want to help another Michigan chapter member with his car problem. I'm not saying that this will solve your washer problem but it may be one area to look for a solution. When you press the washer button do you hear the pump clicking? If the pump is cycling, the problem could also be in the pumps piston which is also removable and fixable. There could be many other mechanical/electrical reasons for the failure but you need to start somewhere. I hope I can help.
BTW- why do so many people on this site and the other forum refer to this as an "anti drip valve"? Just asking.
          Jeff
