Was there a liquid placed around the threads of the plugs prior to GM installing them?

Frank, GM has never used anything that I recall, But I like to use a coating of anti seize compound sometimes, these plugs stay put for many years in our cars and this will help with the removal.

The threads on my 93 have a coating on them from the factory! I never pulled a plug and saw coated threads as these. And that includes all makes +

Frank the factory Delco plugs are plated so the plugs are not suppose to seize, But I myself like to put a light coating of anti seize.
