    2017 Convention Photos

    Good morning all,

    Here are my photos for the first 3 days I was here. Be advised that they were batch processed and not individually processed so some may be dark etc.

                                                      The hall was 183,000+ square feet and the trailer parking hall was 90,000 square feet.

                                                          Thank you Vinnie. The convention center was ''HUGE'' and all new. It was built in 1968 and the all new center opened in January 2016. In the heart of the RIVERWALK area of San Antonio there was something for everyone. You definitely needed your walking shoes or a scooter with strong batteries. Dave Ewan and I had scooter races around the 67 L-88 RACE CAR. [only kidding].

                                                          UBER was the best secret to get to Convention from off site hotels. PARKING is terrible , and expensive.

                                                          My CORVETTE RACE CAR SEMINAR was a success. We were blessed to have DAVE MORGAN and DAVEY JORDAN as special guests. Morgan is 92 and Davey celebrated his 82nd birthday at our seminar and a special hosted dinner Thursday evening by NCRS friends. And NCRS members Glen and Lucia Spielberg brought the original 67 L-88 Race car from Long Island to share with members the ''history'' of this great hobby. Note the chair. It was DAVE's original SCCA SEBRING chair now with the car. I love the history and great people who share it
