I'm trying to ID original owner of our 1964 Roadster VIN#40867S103969. Purchased from Harry Mann Chevrolet Los Angels built October 31, 1963.

The Owners Manual Card to register for the Corvette News was used.

Can anyone tell me if the 1964 Corvette News Mailing list can be found; appreciate any thoughts or directions.

You might call the GM Heritage Center - Library (use google for the number). It's north of the GM Technical Center in STERLING HEIGHTS, MI. They have many of the old Corvette News issues digitized, so you can read them on their web site. (One issue includes photos of my '65 racer.)

Don't hold your breath, but don't miss the remote possibility by not calling. Please report back on what they say.

Unfortunately, even if the mailing list could be found (which I doubt), I don't think it would do you any good. I don't think the mailing list was keyed in any way to the VIN number of the car.
