Saw the rear cover cover of Corvette News 1966 - these were in the days of pre NCRS, I guess there's always been an interest in the true American sports car - and a picture paints a thousand words - must have been great times

It would be interesting to know how many of those cars had:

A) Aftermarket wheels

B) A Hurst shifter

or

C) All of the above.

The Corvette Corral at Sebring 1966. The cover photo is the Penske 1966 Corvette Coupe that won GT class honors at this race. This issue also has the "Building The 427" article with pictures from the Tonawanda plant.

Can you imagine the looks/comments you would get today taking your vette to the car show and climbing up on the hood or roof and hanging out? lol
