Nobody even mentioned anything about this one. Ironically all Bowling Green as ever painted is base coat clear coat.

I think John meant St. Louis.

The St Louis plant was the only site doing '67 BB painting because of the stinger. There is words on a possible couple trial run BB's done at AO Smith but not typical production. There was some coverage by Roy Sinor on one of those AO Smith BB cars some time back. But again not a typical build thing at any where other than St Louis.

Yep, agreed, my early BG '81 Bowtie has a fantastic paint job. In fact some experts have told me the early BG '81s had more than twice the amount of paint than a typical St. Louis car had that year. And it was done much more professionally than St. Louis ever did.
