Question on "Super Glue" that we all use on our Corvettes time to time

Like to have some input from our car guys. We all use the above time to time on our cars but
getting frustrated on all the wasted glue after opening it up for the first time. I bet this has happened
    to everybody on this board.

We know the product is made by different companies(Loctite;Scotch;Gorilla) and etc.. I have yet
to find anyone of them that makes a container that will contain the product w/o the product drying up
and sealing the container to the point it will have to be thrown away. I believe at one time Loctite
had a container with a steel pin embedded with the top but don't make it anymore. (I guess it worked
to well) Question: Does anybody know of a company that makes this product and has solved the con-
    tainer issue?? Thanks in advance-Larry

For what it's worth. I keep all the glue I use in my refrigerator in the garage. This extends the shelf life quite a bit by my experience. Hope this helps. Jeff

Places like Dollar Store, Dollar Tree and Dollar General sell a package of 6 small, one time use tubes of Super Glue on a cardboard package, ........ for one dollar!

At the store I go to these glue tubes are on the vertical display along with household "tools" ---- I gotta tell you, they have a nice selection of disposable tools & stuff, all for a dollar each, like wire brushes, retractable blade box cutters, tie down straps, plastic zip ties - all great junk drawer stuff.

            Larry,
This all you need. It costs about $5 at Home Depot, sets up in less that 10 seconds, is thicker so it fills small gaps. I started using this in building and repairing my flying model airplanes and have used it on all kinds of things. The cap screws on and it stays good for a very long time. Hope this works for you.

I buy the four-to-a-cardboard set for under $2 from Home Depot. It's so cheap that I don't worry if it dries out. And I AM frugal.

Thanks Jeff: Just picked up the above from Walmart for about $5; have put it in the refrigerator for storage.

                  Larry,
If you purchased the Gorilla Glue that I posted, there is no need to refrigerate. I have had containers for a year that worked perfectly as long as the cap is on tight.

The original Crazy Glue sells a plastic container with 5 or 6 throw away mini one time use tubes.

I used super glue and baking soda to make fillets in my RC planes long ago. The recipe works good for some plastic repairs too.

                      Google it.
