To answer my own question, here is a link I found to Eckler's that lists a correct date coded new MC. You provide them with your VIN and they then date code it correctly.

Re: Julian date for master cylinder for 69 corvette
The delay in 1970 MY production for Camaro & Corvette is often attributed to the 1969 work stoppage, and the accompanying need to fulfill sold orders. I have spent quite some time researching the automotive and business press of the time and I have been unable to find anything in print to justify the extended 1969 model year. Nothing about the strike or any other reason.
No Corvettes were produced from April 10 to June 8, 1969. That is a total of 42 work days exclusive of Saturdays and Sundays. I believe a holiday for Easter/Good Friday would have been in there somewhere, but I did not account for that.
The extended production run went from August to December 18. That is substantially more than 42 days, actually it is more than double the 42 days of lost production even allowing for Labor Day and Thanksgiving. They did produce cars on some/most Saturdays in that extended run, so the extended time more than made up for the production lost. I don't believe for a minute the "strike" story, but I can not provide an alternative answer.Terry- Top

Re: Julian date for master cylinder for 69 corvette
There are a number of vendors supplying new date coded master cylinders. I have regularly seen an ad in The Driveline. My guess is that they all come from the same source, but I have no idea who that source is. My advice is to shop price and quality of service. To answer my own question, here is a link I found to Eckler's that lists a correct date coded new MC. I believe that cssb is the company that actually developed them:To answer my own question, here is a link I found to Eckler's that lists a correct date coded new MC. You provide them with your VIN and they then date code it correctly.
