I had these tips on my shelf and decided to install them on my car. Job was cut short. Was this problem common?

60 appears to be a reproduction. The relief slot is square at the end and the chrome coming off. The 59 has a circular cut at the end of the relief slot.

Wrong. 60 is slightly used. Look again.

Both are later dated GM replacements, and will be judged as such.
And yes, it's interesting that one of them obviously has the wrong part number, as they're both the same part.

Yes I am surprised at a mistake like this, but I was more surprised when I went to install them. Stamped 59, meant for the left side, fits the right.
