Prior Issues of the Driveline Searchable by VIN?? Can it be done?

In my ongoing search to find my original warranty book / protect-o-plate, I have placed an ad in the driveline to see if I can find the person that purchased my original documents off of ebay several years ago. That got me to wondering if old driveline ads are searchable either by year or by VIN. Although a small chance, I think it is possible that the person that bought or sold my docs may have listed them in an old issue of the driveline before selling them on ebay.

Can someone tell me if this is possible? Are prior issues of the Driveline online and searchable? I think this could be a valuable service to anyone trying to find their old car, vin specific parts, or other historical documents that may have been listed for sale in prior issues of the Driveline.

Past issues of The Driveline are available online from the online publications menu at the top of the page. The Driveline was put online back in May/June 2010 and all issues since then are available and searchable. If you need specific instructions as to how to navigate the different issues, send me an email and I'll explain it.
