1957 throttle linkage

The round rod the that the gas pedal pushes on under the dash was it natural or black . Does not look like Cadmium . Was it and the bracket installed when they did the black out . If so was the throttle arm also installed at this time .Thanks in advance .

I agree. Every 57 FI that I have owned had the complete assembly painted.
