Help locating who currently does Vette Horn restoration. I did the forum search, however latest posts were 2009. Trying to not call
those who might have retired. Thanks in advance for any help shared!!

As far as I know, Dennis Portka located in Hamburg, NY still restores Corvette horns.

You could also try giving Joe Perri a call. He has an ad on page 38 in the latest issue of "The Driveline".

I used Joe and well pleased, if ever have an opportunity to atten his one of his seminars you would how knowledge he is about horns and radiator caps and what is correct

Joe Perri did my 63 horns...outstanding...
I know Andy Cannizzo sells date coded 63 horns (restores 63 consoles too); don't know if he does work on other year cars though...

Joe Perri is the end all be all for horns. Save your time and money - go with Joe.

Joe tes Dennis Portka in Hamburg N Y did mine excellent in every way,looks/sound,
With his restoration you can participate in Weddigns and not have to fear failure....

I was thinking of rebuilding my own horns but everything takes (much) longer than expected so considering having them rebuilt. I would like to do it but the time always exceeds expectations. They work but don't sound good.

Ballpark, how much did you spend with Joe Perri restoring your horns. Thanks.

When Joe Perri is done with them - you better stand a piece away when they honk. My 63 horns done by him are loud..

Dennis Portka sold his business to Gary Steinkellner at The Horn Works (www.carhornrestoration.com). Gary restored the horns for my 1962 Corvette and they turned out great.
