    C2 clock install problem

I am attempting to reinstall my 67 clock but can't reach the driver's side clip. The glove box is removed. The dash and radio have not been removed. I can see the pin that the clip slides onto but can't reach it. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.

I recently had mine out of my 66. I had the glove box removed and was able to get mine back in without any trouble. I sort of had to do the driver side by feel, but I was able to get it back in without a lot of trouble.

Randy, this can all be done from the passenger side. What worked for me is:
      Disconnect battery (minus side).
      Remove glove compartment.
Remove dash R.S. panel to improve access.
Remove clock R.S. retainer clip by sliding it off of clock stud.
Remove elec. connector from back of clock (this really improves access to L.S. retainer clip).
Remove L.S. clip & pull clock forward to remove.
Don't depend on seeing what you are doing - a lot of this is by feel.
      Assemble in reverse order.

I feel your pain. Your doing it from passenger side is correct. Just did this AGAIN a few months ago. You have to do this by feel- a little lubricant on the back of the clips helps - you can "tweet" the spring clips a little, but don't over do it. A thin glove on your finger helps apply the force needed.
