For the owners(Me Included) of the above system we all know this was the "Achilles Heel" for that LT1.
The LT1 at that time had a lot going for it with its sequencial intake system providing good hood clearance and
good throttle response. Question: If one wanted to R&R that system with another system and still work with the car provided what
would one do? The way the engine sits (set back) there is no room in the back to provide the standard distributor
as we all know. I guess this question would be the best>What would Chevrolet done different if it knew the problem
before hand with the technology at that time?? Distributor in front like the NASCAR RO7?? But that presents problems also with tight quarters.
Idea's?? Thanks in advance--Larry
