GM sector in group 6.850, part # 609940, according to the ancient GM cardboard box the sector has lived in for decades. my 29-41 chevy master parts list uses #'s , the highest of which is 552037. when i bought it, i was told it was for a 39 chevy master(i.e., a 39 with I-beam front axle). thanks, mike

Re: old NOS sector shaft unit need application
thanks ed and loren. i hit a home run as the 39 i'm working on is a JB, the sedan delivery with I-beam front axle. its rumored this ole 39 hauled rochester units from new york to st louis. seriously, i got it from a morgantown WVa coal miner 42 years ago, who got it out of a texas junkyard then towed it to morgantown with a corvair. the sedan del will have a matching #'d 383/375HP crate engine. mike- Top
