Simple, hopefully quick question:
Are there any identifying marks on the primary float bowl housing between carbs manufactured 4yrs apart if they are the same model and list? I have a need for a replacement carb with correct manufacture for my car but the primary bowl leaks badly around the fuel line threads, badly enough so that I am considering replacing that section (primary fuel bowl) with that from my old/current carb made 4yrs later. I would hate to have a mixture of parts from different years if it were a big deal. What would the judges say?
