Re: 1968 Gardner Exhaust
Jeff, are the front pipes welded? Also, ask them to put the wrinkles in the rear where they go into the mufflers.
It will be as close as anybody is making. Wish we could get somebody to make the mufflers just a bit better.

Re: 1968 Gardner Exhaust
I agree with wishing someone would make a a better muffler more closely resembling originals. They made the N11 mufflers so I wish they would add the additional baffle for the standard muffler.

Re: 1968 Gardner Exhaust
Mufflers from all aftermarket makers has an issue that must be difficult to resolve. It is the way the end caps to the body are crimped originals were rounded (see photo). The aftermarkets are flattened across the top of the crimp (see photo). Until that change happens a 40% deduction (for Configuration and Date) will happen for all aftermarket mufflers.- Top

I like that first picture Paul. So much nice stuff to see there.Mufflers from all aftermarket makers has an issue that must be difficult to resolve. Re: 1968 Gardner Exhaust
If I recall this is a photo from a 1970 LT-1 located in the Chicago-land area color Mulsanne Blue. A great example to learn from.

Gene is also correct using this system you will end up with 2 welds at the muffler when there should only be 1. See photoAttached Files- Top
