Tim, can you give us more details. Did it run those times on the tires shown? Rear axle ratio? Great picture!!

It's a 4.11 car George

Not sure if that was on the white walls as shown. There is an entry in the original owners notes about buying slicks. I think mid 13's is a long shot on stock tires. The original owner was an aircraft mechanic and did all of his own work. I could only assume he had the tune spot on.

The talk about Grand Sports in the "Fact Check Please" thread reminded me of this. GS 002, ex-Penske car. This ad was in Hot Rod magazine in 1967. The old saying, "Nothing is older than last years race car" nothing is REALLY older than a 3 or 4 year old race car.

The paint scheme kinda reminds me of a Joel Rosen's Baldwin-Motion Performance creation. Also, notice the New York plates. Possible one of Joel's initial entries as a precursor into his famous customizations of the early C3's?

I saw this 67 Bat Ray on another website.. Love it! Especially the twin 50 cal machineguns nestled into the stinger hood.. a serious stinger!
