I am looking for the key buzzer switch to install in my standard column for my 69 coupe. They appear to be unavailable after checking the usual sources. The switch for the tilt and tele wheel is available. Are they the same? If not can someone tell me where I can purchase a switch for a standard column? Thanks, Mark

The standard and tilt-tele column switches are NOT the same. The standard column switch was GM #7804414 but it's long-since GM-discontinued. Dr. Rebuild has reproductions of this switch. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1969 key buzzer switch question
I have Ignition switches listed as 1990115 exc. tele and 1990116 with tele. Are those the wrong numbers that I have listed. Maybe I am talking about some other switch for the columns. Could mine be the Delco numbers but usually the GM numbers are the same.

Those are the current part numbers for the IGNITION SWITCHES for non-tele and tele 69-82 Corvettes. Both are still available from GM. This question was about the key BUZZER switch. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
