I have the judging manual.
I have Nolan Adams Book.
I have 1,000 color photos from Troy Pyles of an early 54 and a late 54.
I have researched as many photos online as I can find.
I have been blasting and re painting all the brackets and chassis parts. I am doing up a spreadsheet of all the parts and what color/ sheen things are supposed to be. There are several items I couldn't determine the proper finish based on all the research above. (And likely more to come)
So any input from experts would be appreciated. (I will post the final detailed list when done)
1) sway bar
2) rear end fill nut
3) brake drums (semi gloss/ flat black or cast gray?)
4) steering wheel and hub (gloss polo white and gloss sportsman red or flattened like dash?)
5) convertible hinge cover (solid polo white or half/ half red/white)
6) pumpkin cover bolts/ fasteners
More to come, and appreciate all help here.
